While you don't need old credit cards, keep them running to keep your credit history current - they are invaluable at doing that, and if you close the account that will end up hurting you. There is usually a fee for transferring the money and at those small balances it is really more worth it to continue paying them off until they are done. If the balances were much higher then I'd suggest it, but you'd spend money to save money and that isn't worth it at this point. At this point, making the biggest payment you can would be your best bet. And one way might be to get a cash advance from one card, put that into your checking account and then write a check to pay the other card off - you may encounter a small interest balance so you'd need to call the bank to get an account total before paying. That would be one way to pay off a balance, and perhaps the simplest way.

Oh heavens no, you will never succeed in doing this. LOL

Also, when you take that 20k out, it probably doesn't qualify for the 1.9% interest rate. It would be seen as a cash advance and you will be charged 3 to 4% of whatever you take out.

Not a smart plan.

you can't ask for money on a transfer like a LOAN..it doesn't work that way...you need to have a BALANCE left on one card to transfer that balance onto the other card. ( high rate goes to low rate)
You can't ask for money that isn't there...creative finance doesn't work THAT creatively.

Sure... as long as he delivers the goods as promised and you are happy with the work.

Because if you are not.... you are out of luck.

Paying somebody thru Western Union can not be reversed.

You send the money to his nearest Western Union Pick Up place, he picks up the cash and walks away. You can't get it back thru Western Union if you aren't happy with the work.

Find a more secure way of paying this guy for his services.
One that doesn't leave you hanging if you have issues with the quality of the work.

I googled business credit cards for ya and sites like Findbizcards etc don't have anything in terms of business credit. You're going to find that since this economy is in the crapper, banks are less than willing to lend to a business, even if it's successful.
